After Venice, the bunny family went around Switzerland for a bit.
First stop: Cailler chocolate factory, which was the first chocolate factory in Switzerland using fresh cow milk (there are plenty of fat cows in Gruyere).
The museum is also quite nice. Now, I liked it because of its extensive tasting menu but I am sure as a kid I would have loved the fake demonstrations on the evolution of chocolate too.
Fun fact: chocolate comes from the Aztecs in South America who drank it to get high! Women and children were not allowed this “ecstasy”. I had like 20 chocolates that day. Our apologies to the Aztecs :D.
Early days of chocolate production
Next stop: The road to Gstaad/ Glacier 3000
Bottom station of Glacier 3000
And the top of the glacier
There is a bridge connecting the two peaks. The peak with the flag is at 2971 m!
Next after many picture stops, we went to Vevey near Montreaux, hung out at the lake side, and then drove to Lausanne.
One of the many picture stops where the bunnies excitedly took 100s of pictures.
Next we took the train to Morges which had a tulip festival going on. Apparently there were more than 300 varieties of tulips there. Pas mal (not bad in French)!
The train from Morges to Zurich is like a soft rollercoaster and tilts this way and that. But we had so many pictures to look at to relive our trip, such as this one:
Look at those big fat mountains
Tulips and glaciers in a day! Bunnies ❤️ Switzerland as much as their carrots!

I liked the last photo. It captures the drainage from the mountain so well!
